A long winter’s nap

Did you all have a good Holiday? We sure did! Blogging has been very slow around these parts. Things will probably slow down around here even more in the coming weeks because I am due with a baby this coming Friday, and have been taking things easy. (When he actually comes, that is up to him!) I have really been trying to focus on accomplishing everything on my to-do list before baby. But more importantly, I have spending good quality one on one time with Claire since that will be hard to come by when I have an infant attached at the teet 24/7. 😛 But don’t abandon me completely because I have some really fun posts set to be blogged in the coming weeks. Anyway,  I thought in lieu of my last days being pregnant, I would list off the reasons why I’m excited to not be pregnant anymore.

In no particular order, why I’m excited to not be pregnant anymore:

* Sushi!

*No more 24/7 heart burn

* More than two positions to sleep in

* Being able to work out like I used to

* Not needing 500 pillows to make me comfortable

* Being able to pick things up off the floor with ease

* Being able to give hugs without this huge belly in the way

* Not having people state the obvious in public anymore

* Being able to take a FULL breath and fill my lungs again!

*Not having my lungs squished to the size of raisins

and most of all…

*Having a sweet little baby to hug, and kiss and squeeze without having to bribe chocolate for hugs (like I sometimes do with Claire)

Until then: Here’s to the last few days being pregnant!
