C Family — Utah Family Photo

It always means so much to me when a sweet family such as this one finds my work on the internet or TV (without having known me or know someone who knows me), hires me to document their precious family memories.  There are a lot of photographers out there, so I appreciate being given this trust even though they don’t know me from Adam!

And I was extra grateful they were willing to wake up bright and early so we could take advantage of the best light for their photos!

I just wanted to add one more thing…We had a terrible tragedy happen in our area that shook me deeply. A local Police Officer was gunned down out of no where, with no chance to defend himself, and passed away. My heart has been with his family this whole week. He has a son and a wife. His family looked very much like this sweet family, with a same age boy, and a beautiful wife. And every time he was mentioned on the news, they showed photos from their last family photo session. It makes me so grateful that his family had a photo taken together, because now that he is gone, those photos are all that they have. I’m sure if you were to ask his wife to trade those photos for the latest iPhone or latest fall trends, she would never even consider it. I can imagine there’s no sum of money or things that she would trade those memories and photos for.  The only moments we are guaranteed, are the moments that we are currently living. Don’t wait. Whether you hire someone, or hand over a camera to your mom, please be photographed with your loved ones. It means so much. It really does.
