Hudson’s Birth Story

There really are no words that I could say to describe this. So I won’t say much. The emotion in the photos speak for themselves, and to me that is priceless. Hayley and Brandon, THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of this most momentous occasion in your lives. I don’t think I will ever forget it. I can’t even describe what this was like as a photographer, mother, someone who’s given birth, and a friend. It was amazing. Hayley was AMAZING! She gave birth to this child with ZERO pain meds. Not even a tylonol. She’s amazing. The nurses and team of midwives were so supportive, and brought such a peace and calm to the room. Plus they didn’t even mention the “E” word to Hayley once because they knew that’s not what she wanted. It was so incredible. Here is baby Hudson’s birth story told through photographs that will forever be a part of his family’s story and history. What an honor to be able to capture it.

So sweet Kate! Brought a tear to my eye! I especially loved the one where they are all hugging each other. It looks like the Daddy is holding on to dear life to his wife and baby. So tender.
